Initially approved for two years starting in the 2009-10 financial year, the project is now extended for an additional two years, covering 2011-12 and 2012-13. The approved cost remains unchanged at Rs. 42.50 crore. This extension follows a recommendation from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, confirming the project's proper execution.
