of <h1>Tax Deduction Eligibility for Shri K.K. Shah Project Extended; Cost Limit Raised to Rs. 461.51 Lakh u/s 35AC.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the project 'Maintenance and running of Shri K.K. Shah Sabarkantha Arogya Mandal' for tax deductions under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified in 2003, the project was extended in 2006 and 2009. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended increasing the project's cost from Rs. 274.92 lakh to Rs. 461.51 lakh, including a corpus fund increase from Rs. 200 lakh to Rs. 250 lakh. The notification amends the previous cost limits, allowing for higher deductions under the specified section of the Income-tax Act.
