of <h1>India Amends Export of Services Rules: New Clauses Added to Rule 3(1)(i) Effective May 1, 2011</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 36/2011 to amend the Export of Services Rules, 2005. This amendment, effective from May 1, 2011, modifies Rule 3, sub-rule (1), clause (i) by replacing the brackets, letters, and words '(zzzzm) and (zzzzu)' with '(zzzzm), (zzzzu), (zzzzv) and (zzzzw).' This change is made under the authority of sections 93 and 94 of the Finance Act, 1994. The principal rules were initially notified in March 2005 and were last amended in March 2011.
