of <h1>Customs Airports in Gujarat and Punjab Designated for Defence Goods and Personnel Baggage Unloading/Loading</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 61/94-Customs (NT) concerning customs airports for specified purposes. The amendment affects the states of Gujarat and Punjab. For Gujarat, the airports in Ahmedabad and Jamnagar are designated for the unloading and loading of goods related to the Ministry of Defence, including baggage of defence personnel. Similarly, for Punjab, the airports in Rajasansi (Amritsar) and Chandigarh are designated for the same purposes. These changes are effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
