<h1>India Amends Customs Rules: No Drawback on Re-exports to Nepal for Third-Country Imports (Notification No. 13/2011.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 13/2011 - Customs (N.T.) to amend the earlier Notification No. 208/77-Customs dated October 1, 1977. This amendment, effective February 24, 2011, stipulates that no drawback will be allowed on goods exported to Nepal if those goods were initially imported into India from third countries. This change is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962.
