of <h1>Central Government Extends Tax Benefits for Bangalore Medical Project Under Section 35AC, Ensuring Continued Support Through 2012-13.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Sharada Dhanvanthari Medical Centre & Sharada Dhanvantari Haemodialysis Centre' project, operated by a medical foundation in Bangalore, for tax benefits under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for three years starting from the 2007-08 financial year, the project has been granted an additional three-year extension from 2010-11 to 2012-13. The project will continue with the approved cost of Rs. 1.02 crore, as recommended by the National Committee for promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
