of <h1>Andhra Pradesh to Host New IT and Electronics SEZ at Raviryal Village, Approved Under SEZ Act 2005</h1> A private organization in Andhra Pradesh proposed to establish a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology, IT-enabled services, and electronics hardware at Kancha Imarat, Raviryal Village, Maheshwaram Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. The Central Government, under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, has constituted an Approval Committee for this SEZ, comprising various ex officio members from relevant government departments. Additionally, the SEZ has been designated as an Inland Container Depot effective from June 1, 2007, under the Customs Act, 1962. The committee includes representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, Customs, Income Tax, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
