of <h1>India Lifts Export Ban for 60 Metric Tons of Pulses to Maldives Under Amended Trade Policy 2009-2014</h1> The Central Government, under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 and the Foreign Trade Policy 2009-2014, has amended previous notifications to allow an exemption from the prohibition on the export of pulses. This exemption permits the export of 60 metric tons of pulses to the Republic of Maldives through M/s. MMTC Ltd. The original prohibition was established by Notification No. 15(RE-2006)/2004-09 and extended until March 31, 2011, by Notification No. 35/2009-14.
