of <h1>India Amends Tariff Values Notification; Brass Scrap Set at $4,194/MT, Other Goods Unchanged Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has issued Notification No. 92/2010 to amend Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) dated 3rd August 2001. This amendment concerns the fixation of tariff values for certain goods, including crude palm oil, RBD palm oil, palmolein, crude soybean oil, brass scrap, and poppy seeds. The tariff values for these items remain unchanged except for brass scrap, which is set at $4,194 per metric tonne. This notification is issued under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962.
