of <h1>Navasari Cancer Care Foundation's Project Extended Under Section 35AC; Funding Increased to Rs. 18.72 Crore for 2010-13.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the Navasari Cancer Care Foundation's oncology wing as a project under Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially designated for three years starting from the 2007-08 financial year, the project has been extended for another three years, covering 2010-11 to 2012-13. The project cost has been increased from Rs. 4.00 crore to Rs. 18.72 crore, including a Rs. 10 crore corpus fund, following a recommendation by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
