of <h1>Government Approves IT and Electronics SEZ in Bangalore, Karnataka; Recognized as Inland Container Depot from October 7, 2010</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology, IT-enabled services, business process outsourcing, and electronic hardware at Village Kundalahalli, Hobli Krishnarajpuram, Taluka Bangalore South, Karnataka. The SEZ, proposed by a private organization, covers 10.72 hectares across specified survey numbers. An Approval Committee has been constituted, comprising various government officials and a representative from the developer. The SEZ will be recognized as an Inland Container Depot from October 7, 2010, under the Customs Act, 1962.
