of <h1>India Amends Customs Notification: Indonesia Added to Duty-Exempt List for Imports Under Appendix I</h1> The Government of India has issued Notification No. 103/2010-Customs, amending Notification No. 153/2009-Customs, dated December 31, 2009. This amendment exempts goods imported from specified countries in Appendix I from customs duty exceeding the prescribed rate. The amendment adds Indonesia to the list of countries in Appendix I. This decision is made under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962, deemed necessary in the public interest. The notification was published in the Gazette of India on October 1, 2010.
