Special Economic Zone notification establishes IT/ITES SEZ, constitutes Approval Committee and declares ICD status effective. Notification designates a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and IT enabled services at Chokkanahalli, totaling 10.11 hectares, and confirms prior approval for its development, operation and maintenance. It constitutes an Approval Committee composed of specified ex officio officials including the Development Commissioner, Departmental nominee, Zonal JDGFT, and Commissioners of Customs/Central Excise and Income Tax (or nominees).
