of <h1>New IT Special Economic Zone Approved in Mysore, Karnataka; 10 Hectares Dedicated to Tech Growth</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a Sector Specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for information technology and related services at KIDAB Industrial Area, Taluka Hebbel-Hootagally, District Mysore, Karnataka. This approval, granted to a private organization, follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The SEZ covers an area of 10 hectares and includes specific survey numbers. An Approval Committee has been constituted to oversee the zone, comprising various government officials and a representative from the developing organization. The SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot effective September 27, 2010.
