of <h1>India Updates Customs Tariff Values for Brass Scrap and Poppy Seeds, Amendments to Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.)</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Excise and Customs, has issued Notification No. 83/2010-Customs (N.T.) on 15th September 2010, amending Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) dated 3rd August 2001. This amendment updates the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The tariff values for Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, other Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, other Palmolein, Crude Soyabean Oil, Brass Scrap, and Poppy seeds are specified, with most values remaining unchanged except for Brass Scrap and Poppy seeds.
