The amendment clarifies that wherever 'Chewing tobacco (other than filter khaini)' is mentioned, it should be read as 'Chewing tobacco (other than filter khaini) and Jarda scented Tobacco.' This change was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, and is managed by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
