of <h1>India Amends Customs Notification: Certification Can Now Be Done by Senior Manager or Assistant Director</h1> Notification No. 32/2010-Customs, issued by the Government of India, amends Notification No. 39/96-Customs dated 23rd July 1996. The amendment modifies the certification requirement in the notification's table, allowing certification by either the Senior Manager or the Assistant Director. Additionally, the effective date in the explanation section is updated from 28th March 2010 to 1st January 2019. This amendment is made under the powers conferred by the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest.
