The SEZ is located at SIPCOT Information Technology Park, Siruseri, Egattur Village, covering an area of 10.02 hectares. An Approval Committee has been constituted, comprising various government officials and a representative from the developer, to oversee the SEZ operations. Additionally, the SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot/Port under the Customs Act, effective from 2009, facilitating customs operations within the zone.
