of <h1>Govt Approves Special Economic Zone for Multi-Services and Free Trade Warehousing in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a sector-specific Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Multi-Services with a Free Trade Warehousing Zone in Pargana - Ralhupur Tehsil, District Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. Initially proposed by a company, the SEZ's development and maintenance were authorized on October 30, 2008, with a subsequent name change of the developer to Hari Fertilizers Limited on May 12, 2009. The SEZ covers a specified area, detailed in a comprehensive table of plots. An Approval Committee has been constituted, comprising various government officials and a representative from the developer. The SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot/Port effective February 23, 2010.
