<h1>India Extends Destitute Centre Project in Pune for Two More Years; Approved Cost Remains Rs. 118.48 Lakhs.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has extended the eligibility of a project managed by an unnamed foundation for constructing and running a Destitute Centre at Bhilarewadi, Katraj, Pune. Initially approved in 2002 and extended in 2003, the project has been deemed successful by the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare. Consequently, it has been granted an additional two-year extension starting from the financial year 2006-2007, with an unchanged approved cost of Rs. 118.48 lakhs.
