Initially notified in 2003, the project was extended in 2006 and 2009, with the project cost increased from Rs. 1000 lakh to Rs. 20 crore. The address of the institution has been updated to Olympus House, Mumbai. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended these changes, confirming the project's proper execution.
