of <h1>New Customs Act Sub-sections Effective September 15, 2009, as per Notification No. 142/2009-Customs (NT)</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 142/2009-Customs (NT) on September 14, 2009, under the authority of Section 86 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 2009. This notification designates September 15, 2009, as the effective date for the insertion of sub-sections (2A), (2B), (2C), and (2D) into Section 28F of the Customs Act, 1962. The notification is authorized by the Central Government and documented under reference number F.No. 29/02/2009-Ad.IC, with Prashant Kumar serving as the Under Secretary.
