        <h1>Customs amendment adds Trivandrum to designated courier clearance stations, effective upon Gazette publication under Customs Act authority.</h1> The Board, under section 157 of the Customs Act, substitutes the words in regulation 2(2)(a) of the Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998 to add Trivandrum to the list of specified stations (alongside Jaipur and excluding Gojadanga and Petrapole in West Bengal); the Amendment Regulations, 2003 come into force on publication in the Official Gazette.
