of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: Trivandrum Added to Courier Imports/Exports Locations Under Regulation 2(2)(a) of 1998 Regulations.</h1> The Courier Imports and Exports (Clearance) Regulations, 1998 have been amended by the Board under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette, modifies regulation 2, sub-regulation (2), clause (a) by including 'Trivandrum' alongside 'Jaipur' in the list of locations, while maintaining exclusions for land custom stations at Gojadanga and Petrapole in West Bengal. This change is part of Notification No. 38/2003 - Customs (N.T.), dated June 5, 2003, and follows previous amendments, the last being Notification No. 11/2001-Cus. (N.T.).
