India Withdraws Anti-Dumping Duty on Citric Acid from China Under Section 9A and Rule 13.
The Central Government of India has rescinded Notification No. 94/98-Customs, which imposed an anti-dumping duty on citric acid originating from or exported by the People's Republic of China. This action is taken under the authority of sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, in conjunction with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff Rules, 1995. The rescission is formalized through Notification No. 45/99-Customs, dated April 29, 1999, effectively nullifying the previous imposition of duties as published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary on November 24, 1998.
