India Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Bisphenol-A Imports from Brazil and Russia Until December 21, 2000

The Central Government of India, under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, has imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of Bisphenol-A from Brazil and Russia. Based on findings published on March 26, 1999, the duty rates are set at Rs. 12,559 per metric tonne for imports from Russia and Rs. 10,263 per metric tonne for imports from Brazil. This measure aims to counteract dumping practices and will remain effective until December 21, 2000.
