of <h1>Amendment to Customs Notification: Gold in Any Form, Including Liquid Gold and Tola Bars, Now Included in Serial No. 2.</h1> Notification No. 39/2003-Customs, dated 6th March 2003, amends Notification No. 80/97-Customs, dated 21st October 1997, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. Under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, the amendment modifies the entry in the table against Serial No. 2 to include 'Gold in any form including liquid gold and tola bars, other than at Serial No. 1 above.' This amendment is enacted in the public interest as determined by the Central Government. The original notification and its amendments are documented in the Gazette of India.
