of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: Condition No. 3 Updated to Increase Figure from 7,500 to 10,000 for Public Interest.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 40/2002-Customs, dated April 12, 2002, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment involves a change in the figures within Condition No. 3, sub-para iii) of para A in the Annexure, replacing '7,500' with '10,000.' This change is made in the public interest, as per Notification No. 9/2003-Customs, dated January 15, 2003. The principal notification was initially published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary and last amended by Notification No. 87/2002-Customs on August 27, 2002.
