of <h1>Project Imports Regulations Amended: New Entry for Drinking Water Supply Projects Added, Overseen by Local Authorities.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has amended the Project Imports Regulations, 1986, through Notification No. 92/2002-Customs, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette. A new entry has been added to the regulations' table, specifically for drinking water supply projects aimed at providing water for human or animal consumption. These projects will be overseen by the Collector, District Magistrate, or Deputy Commissioner of the district where the project is located. The principal notification was initially published in 1986 and last amended in 1997.
