of <h1>Central Excise Update: Coffee and Tea Pre-Mixes Now Duty-Free, Entry 26A Removed per Notification No. 13/2009</h1> The Central Government has amended notification No. 3/2006-Central Excise, effective from March 1, 2006, concerning the effective rate of duty on goods from Chapter 1 to Chapter 25. As per notification No. 13/2009-Central Excise dated July 7, 2009, a new entry, S. No. 22A, has been added to include coffee or tea pre-mixes with a nil duty rate. Additionally, S. No. 26A and its related entries have been removed. These changes are made under the authority of the Central Excise Act, 1944, in the public interest.
