<h1>Approval Committee Formed for IT and IT-Enabled Services SEZ in Tamil Nadu under SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government has established an Approval Committee for the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) dedicated to information technology and IT-enabled services at Viswanathapuram Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, Tamil Nadu. This SEZ is to be developed by Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited. The committee, formed under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, includes members such as the Development Commissioner of the SEZ, officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, and representatives from customs, income tax, finance, and Tamil Nadu's industrial sectors. A representative from the developer is a special invitee.
