Under the revised regulation, specific officers are authorized to exercise powers under Section 13, in conjunction with Section 11, with designated financial limits. The Additional Director General of Foreign Trade and the Development Commissioner for Special Economic Zones have no financial limits, while other officers have varying limits ranging from Rs.1 crore to Rs.50 crores. This amendment is issued in the public interest by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
