Exemption under section 35AC: mid-day meal scheme declared eligible and extended for a further three-year period The Central Government notifies the Mid-day Meal Scheme in three schools of Bangalore run by Maria Seva Sangha as an eligible project for tax-exemption for a further three-year period beginning with financial year 2009-2010, without change to the approved cost of Rs.50.00 lakh, on the recommendation of the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare under the applicable rule.
