Equal remuneration authorities designated nationwide with regional jurisdiction mapped across states, districts, and union territories. Specified Regional Labour Commissioners (Central) and Deputy Chief Labour Commissioners (Central) are designated as authorities for the purposes of section 7(6) of the Equal Remuneration Act, 1976, with territorial jurisdiction distributed across India by State, Union territory, and certain civil districts. The notification also supersedes the earlier designation notification, subject to things done or omitted to be done before supersession.
