Vacancy reporting requirement starts for employers in public and private sectors under the social security framework. The Central Government fixes the commencement of the vacancy reporting requirement under section 139(1) of the Code on Social Security, 2020 as ninety days from the notification of the Social Security (Central) Rules, 2026. From that date, every employer in the public sector and private sector must report vacancies to the concerned career centre.
