of <h1>India Ends Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Sports Shoes and Footwear Under Customs Tariff Act, 1975</h1> The Central Government of India has rescinded Notification No. 15/2001-Customs, which imposed an anti-dumping duty on sports shoes and non-leather sports footwear originating from or exported by the People's Republic of China. This action, effective from September 25, 2001, is executed under the authority of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and the relevant rules for identifying and assessing anti-dumping duties. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted prior to this change. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
