Initially notified for three years starting from the financial year 2005-2006, the project is now approved for an additional three years, covering 2008-2009, 2009-2010, and 2010-2011. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended this extension, confirming the project's proper execution. The approved cost remains unchanged at Rs. 2.40 crore.
