of <h1>Revised tariff values u/s 14(2) for edible oils, metals, areca nuts and precious metals from 16 December 2025</h1> The Ministry of Finance, through the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, amends Notification No. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.) to revise tariff values under section 14(2) of the Customs Act, 1962. New tariff values in US dollars are fixed per metric tonne for specified edible oils (palm oil, palmolein, soya bean oil), brass scrap, and areca nuts, and per 10 grams or kilogram for various forms of gold and silver, including those availing benefits under Notification No. 45/2025-Customs. Detailed tables replace earlier Tables 1, 2, and 3. The revised tariff values take effect from 16 December 2025.
