of <h1>Anti-dumping duty on hot-rolled alloy/non-alloy steel flats from Vietnam set for five years; nil for Hoa Phat, others $121.55/MT</h1> Anti-dumping duty is imposed on imports into India of hot rolled flat products of alloy or non-alloy steel (excluding stainless steel), not clad/plated/coated, of thickness up to 25 mm and width up to 2100 mm, classifiable under tariff headings 7208, 7211, 7225 or 7226, where the goods originate in or are exported from Vietnam, including where Vietnam is the country of export for goods originating elsewhere. The duty applies for five years from publication and is payable in Indian currency at the applicable notified exchange rate on the bill of entry date. The rate is NIL for goods produced by Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel JSC, and USD 121.55 per MT for other covered producers/shipments, subject to reduction by any safeguard duty payable.
