of <h1>Amendment to Electronic Cargo Tracking System Regulations clarifies transhipment routes to Nepal from specified Indian ports, effective on publication</h1> The customs authority amends the Transhipment of Cargo to Nepal under the Electronic Cargo Tracking System Regulations, specifying that the rules apply to cargo transhipped from the Indian ports of Kolkata, Haldia and Vishakhapatnam to Birgunj (Nepal) by rail; to Batnaha (India) by rail and onward by road to Biratnagar (Nepal); to Biratnagar (Nepal) by rail; and to the Indian customs yard at Jogbani by rail and onward by road to Biratnagar. The amendment takes effect on publication in the Official Gazette.
