of <h1>Government creates ten Regional Directors under Section 68A of LLP Act, 2008, effective January 1, 2026</h1> The Central Government, under section 68A of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, establishes ten Regional Directors in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs with specified headquarters and territorial jurisdictions across India to exercise and discharge functions under the Act or as delegated by the Government. The offices cover Northern, North-Western, Western (two directorates), Southern, South-Western, Eastern, Northeastern and Southeastern regions with headquarters from New Delhi to Guwahati and Hyderabad. The arrangement takes effect from 1 January 2026.
