The Central Government constitutes an Approval Committee comprising the Development Commissioner as Chairperson ex officio, specified ex officio members from commerce, customs, income tax, finance and state nominees, and a developer representative as special invitee. The SEZ is also declared to be deemed an Inland Container Depot under the Customs Act.
