of <h1>Central Government Notifies 30.20-Hectare Multi-Sector SEZ Under SEZ Act, 2005 with Inland Container Depot Status</h1> The Central Government has notified a 30.20-hectare area in Balinong, Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh, as a Multi-Sector Special Economic Zone (SEZ) under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. Approval for the SEZ was granted on September 23, 2022, and the area is now officially designated for development, operation, and maintenance. An Approval Committee has been constituted comprising various ex officio members from commerce, customs, income tax, finance, and state government officials, along with a representative of the developer. The SEZ is also declared an Inland Container Depot under the Customs Act, 1962, effective July 30, 2025. Detailed geographical coordinates of the land parcel have been provided as it is not within a cadastral area.
