of <h1>Constitution (Seventy-fifth Amendment) Act, 1993, to take effect on May 15, 1994, per section 1(2) powers.</h1> The Central Government of India, through the Ministry of Urban Development, has set the commencement date for the Constitution (Seventy-fifth Amendment) Act, 1993. The Act will come into effect on May 15, 1994, as per the powers granted by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Amendment Act. The notification was issued on May 13, 1994, under the authority of the Joint Secretary.
