Commencement of constitutional amendment: specified provisions to commence on the day after notification publication. The Central Government, exercising the power conferred by subsection (2) of section 1 of the Constitution (Forty-fourth Amendment) Act, 1978, notifies that the date immediately following publication of this notification in the Official Gazette is appointed as the date on which the identified provisions of the Amendment Act shall come into force.
