of <h1>Government Extends Healthcare Project Eligibility Under Section 35AC of Income-tax Act, 1961 for Three More Years</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Health care project' by an organization located at a commercial complex in Hauz Khas, New Delhi, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified in 2005, the project was approved for three years and later amended in 2006. Due to its successful execution, the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare recommended extending the project for another three years starting from the financial year 2008-09, maintaining the approved cost of Rs. 4.50 crore.
