<h1>CBIC Amends Notification No. 63/1994-Customs: Specifies Goods for Clearance at Designated Border Haats Including Vegetables, Spices, and More.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended Notification No. 63/1994-Customs (N.T.) to specify the classes of goods permitted for clearance at designated border haats: Balat, Kalaichar, Srinagar, Kamalasagar, Bholaganj, Nalikata, and Ryngku. The allowed goods include locally produced vegetables, fruits, spices, minor forest produce excluding timber, cottage industry products, small household and agricultural implements, garments, melamine products, processed food items, toiletries, cosmetics, plastic and aluminum products, cookeries, and stationery. 'Locally produced' refers to produce from the concerned border district.
