of <h1>Central Government Extends Pratham Delhi Education Initiative Under Section 35AC for Three More Years with Approved Funding.</h1> The Central Government has extended the eligibility of the 'Pratham Delhi Education Initiative at Delhi' as a project under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially notified for three years starting from the assessment year 2003-04 and extended for two more years from the financial year 2005-06, the project is now further extended for three years starting from the financial year 2008-09. The project, executed by Pratham Delhi Education Initiative, will continue with an approved cost of Rs. 1229.38 lakh, following a recommendation from the National Committee for the Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
