Initially notified in 2006 for three years starting from the financial year 2005-06, the project is recognized for its effective execution. Based on recommendations from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare, the project will continue for an additional three years from the financial year 2008-09, maintaining its approved cost of Rs. 28.21 crore.
