This project includes the construction and equipment of women and children centers and a hostel-cum-training center for disadvantaged students, with an estimated cost of Rs. 9 crore. Initially approved for three years starting from the 1993-94 assessment year, the project has been extended multiple times and is now approved for an additional three years starting from the 2008-09 financial year, excluding 2007-08.
