<h1>Revised Customs Tariff Values: New Rates for Palm Oil, Soybean Oil, Brass Scrap, Gold, and Silver Effective September 2024.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. Effective from September 14, 2024, the revised values include crude palm oil at $965 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $976, and crude soybean oil at $1011. Brass scrap is valued at $5236 per metric tonne. Gold is set at $819 per 10 grams and silver at $937 per kilogram. Areca nuts remain unchanged at $6868 per metric tonne. These changes are part of Notification No. 61/2024-Customs (N.T.) issued by the Ministry of Finance.
