of <h1>Tariff Values Updated for Edible Oils, Metals, and Areca Nuts Effective August 31, 2024, under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods including edible oils, brass scrap, areca nuts, gold, and silver, effective from August 31, 2024. The revised tariff values are specified in three tables: Table-1 lists values for different types of palm oil and soybean oil, Table-2 covers gold and silver in various forms, and Table-3 maintains the existing tariff for areca nuts. This update is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and modifies the earlier notification from August 3, 2001.
